Challenge

Xpert delivery is a courier delivery service based in the UK. The challenge faced by xpertdelivery.com was that with lead generation. Majority of the leads that they receive are from an online marketplace called shiply.com. A web application was developed by Xpert delivery to extract the leads from shiply. There are thousands of leads posted each day on this marketplace. These leads have to be further processed manually by team members to see what leads qualify. This was done to basically determine if the items are deliverable or not. This was based on a set of rules which they have to look through. Going through thousands of lead manually each day can be extremely time-consuming so this was cutting out at some valuable time for Xpert Delivery sales team. Furthermore, doing all of this locally was also costing them an awful lot.

Solution

Worktrooper provided a data entry team which qualifies all of the leads and lists them in the web app and greatly helps with processing. Firstly, the team was trained in the qualifying process of selecting items that are deliverable. Secondly, to ensure that the extracted leads were qualified, Worktrooper provided them with 3 qualified agents for this task who worked as backend database data entry operators. Currently, this smartphone app backend operation is being taken care of by qualified team members. This would, in turn, give the sales team a chance to look through further actions to save time and improve efficiency.

Results

With this new way of operating, a lot of improvements seen in their efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This was clearly the best way to go about with for them as the results speak for themselves. Xpert delivery can now process 1400 leads per day. As compared to the previous number, this is twice the amount of leads they could process in one day previously. The costs have also been reduced by 33%. All of these improvements will be highly beneficial for them as they will get a chance to invest this time and money elsewhere.
